This month at Elwood Public Library, we have events for the whole family! Check out our line up below –

Oct 8, 7pm: “Corpse Bride” movie on the lawn

Bring the family to watch Corpse Bride on the Elwood Library lawn! Popcorn and hot chocolate will be provided. Please dress warmly and bring your own lawn chair or blanket to sit on.

Oct 20, 4pm – 6pm: Pumpkin Carving and Decorating
All supplies provided, Sign-ups required by Oct 15th

Paint or carve a pumpkin at the Elwood Library on Oct 20 starting at 4pm! Sign-ups required. All supplies are provided, and all ages are welcome. This is an outdoor program so please plan to dress accordingly.

Oct 22, 7pm: “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark
movie on the lawn

Brave souls of all ages are welcome to the Elwood Library lawn to watch SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK on Oct. 22 at 7pm. Popcorn and hot chocolate will be provided. Please dress warmly and bring your own seat to jump out of!

Oct 29, all day: Costume Contest and Trick or Treating at the library!


We’re celebrating Halloween early all day at the Elwood Library on Oct. 29th! Come in to trick or treat and show off your costume for the costume contest. Prizes will be awarded in adult and kid categories!
