Children’s Programs

Giggles and Wiggles- Lap-sit babies to 2 years

This class is offered every Thursday at 11:00 AM. During the course of the year these young ones and their caregivers will be enjoying songs, stories, rhymes and finger plays.

 Let’s Imagine – Pre-schoolers – Ages 3 to 6

This program is offered every Tuesday at 11:00 AM. Each week the class will have a theme based lesson involving songs, stories, learning centers and playtime.

 F.A.S.T.(Frankton After School Time) – Kindergarten to 5th graders

This program is offered every Wednesday for K- 5th at 4:00 PM. This class is full of fun for older children. The kids will hear book trailers, do arts and crafts, play games, and eat snacks all based on the monthly themes.

Teen Zone – 6th graders on up

This program is offered every Thursday at 4:00 PM. Teen Zone is a time for 6th graders on up to come and hang out. Don’t miss the crazy-fun activities and snacks!

Lego Mania

This program is offered every 2nd & 4th Friday at 3:30 PM. Lego Mania is a time for kids of all ages to come and build!

Adult Programs

Adult Book Club

This book club for adults meets every Wednesday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 AM to discuss the current novel.

Tech Hour

One on one computer classes will be held weekly on Wednesday from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM at each branch.  Please call the Elwood branches’ Adult Services Desk to schedule an appointment.

Color Your World

This class meets every second Monday of the month from 5:30 – 7:00 PM to de-stress, relax, and do some coloring.  Materials are supplied, but attendees are welcome to bring their own.

Watercolor Painting Class

This activity is held every second Tuesday of the month at 1 PM. Artist Jan Roland comes and instructs on watercolor painting. There is a $15 charge to cover cost of supplies.  Adults and children welcome. Please register at the front desk or call (765) 551-4140.
